Essay

Object: process of investment resource formation on the regional level in the system transformational economic conditions of Ukrainian regions. Purpose: development of scientific positions of the investigation of investment resources of a region in the transformation economic conditions of Ukrainian economy and substantiation of practical recommendations to improve the formation process of investment resource on the regional level. Methods: theoretical generalization and comparison, analysis and synthesis, monographic, system-structural and comparative analysis, index, statistical grouping, graphic and cartographical, mathematical modelling. Theoretical results: methodical development ground the necessity of optimization the formation process of investment resources of a region taking into account principles and key factors of regional development on the basis of the systems approach. Practical results: the strategy of investment resource formation and the mechanism of stimulation of investment and innovative development of a region are offered. Novelty: the complex estimating method of investment resources formation on the regional level is worked out, the multifactor econometric models of investment resource formation of Cherkasy district and towns are elaborated, a new definition of concepts "investment development of a region"” and "strategy of formation of a region's investment resources” are offered. Implementation: in economic activities of regional and local organs of power, in economic practice of private enterprises, in educational process. Sphere of use: the regional investment policy.
