Essay

The dissertation is the first complex work on the ethnic history of ancient Elam covering the period with the V – middle І millennium B.C. In this thesis attempts are made for reveal the process of ethnoconsolidation of elamites – the ancient people which lived in pre-arian epoch in the Southwest of Iran and was, along with Sumerians and Semites-Akkadians, creators of one of the most ancient in the world of civilizations – Mesopotamic civilization. Attempt of the comparative analysis of the given various sciences – archeology, linguistics, studying of written sources for finding-out of an essence of process of ethnoconsolidations of communities who had attributes of the elamite cultures and communicated in elamite dialects in rather uniform the then an ethnic generality, the factors promoted ethnoconsolidation and preservation of this generality during the long historical period is made (elamite written sources appear in the end III mil B.C. and disappear in the I mil. B.C.).
