Essay

In the dissertation a scientific and technical problem of increase of efficiency has been solved for diamond lapping of spherical surface of ceramic head of hip joint prosthesis thanks to new way of machining which include an additional rotation of a detail and quasi-central loading zone of machining. It is shown that new way of machining provides the roughness of a spherical surface of Ra 0,013 - 0,02 m and deviation from sphericity within 0,4 - 0,9 m.
