Arkushina A. The urban flora of Kirovograd

A special study of vascular plants of the city of Kirovograd has been out. The results of the floristically investigation of the Kirovograd urban flora are revealed. It was established that it consist of 1165 species, 524 genera, 121 families, 62 orders and 4 divisions. Among them, 214 species are cultural and 170 species are new for the investigated area. The taxonomic, geographical, ecological, biomorphological as well as ecotopological analyses of vascular flora were carried out. The degree of anthropogenic transformation of Kirovograd's urban flora is been discussed. The analyses of the main stage of invasion, mode of immigration, primary distribution areas and degree of naturalization of 237 alien species are presented. As a result of the urban flora ekotopoligical differentiation investigations it was established that vascular plants take part in 7 ecocenophyton and 17 ecophytons formation. There are 63 rare species of plants in the city: 5 of which are protected at the international level, 27 -at the state level and 31 by local authorities. To protect the rare species of plants we advice to create two reserves.
