Essay

The work is devoted to the increase of work's effectiveness of the crawler-mounted mover of agricultural tractors due to the deterioration of mechanical losses in the hinges of tracks. The methodology of track's hinges research, the estimation of character's moment changing and the constant of friction in the track-pin-track system was elaborated and at the same time taking into account real-life environment of hinge's working during the tractor's maintenance. It was established the depending of the moment of friction and the constant of friction on design and operating factors under loading- and high-speed regimes of the stand. The dependency of the moment and the constant of friction of feed contact vice were investigated, which allows carrying out of researches of design factors influences (the pin radius, gap between bushing and the pin, the length of bushing and pin) and also operating factors on friction moment in metallic hinges. The limit of actual contact area 'satiety' (ACA) was established and as the result the constant of friction holds its growth and to the contrary - in case of further loading increase - it decreases. Two variants of tracks with 7 and 11-rings hinges were worked up and produced. The track's variant with 11-rings showed the increase of the conditional hauling coefficient of efficiency of the tractor by 1,2…3 %.
