Essay

The work is devoted to investigation of the genus Festuca L. in the Flora of the Western Ukraine. Intra- and interpopulational variability of the fescues population were investigated on the basis of the statistical analyses of morphometric characters and leaf anatomy. The geographical and sozological analysis of the Festuca species was carried out and their distribution clarified.
