Essay

The dissertation is devoted to clinical and epidemiological peculiarities of combined skull-brain trauma. On the basis of multifactor analysis of lethal outcomes the risk factors were identified, and regressive models were built to determine the probability of patient's state heaviness and lethal outcomes. The ways to optimize of specialized medical treatment of patients with combined skull-brain trauma were suggested, that helped to decrease the lethality at combined skull-brain trauma in 1994-2004 from 25,7 to 16% especially at heavy skull-brain trauma, at combined trauma - from 84,4 to 45%.
