Klimenko T. Bioecological Peculiarities of Heavy Metals Spreading in Urban Systems of Industrial Dneprodzerzhinsk.

The objects are the components of town urban systems: soils and the herbaceous plants of Taraxacum officinale and Роа angustifolia type. The aims are to study the bioecological peculiarities of heavy metals spreading in urban systems of Dneprodzerzhinsk town and to estimate of soil and plants contamination levels with this pollutants. The methods are fields, landshaft-geochemical, laboratorial-analytical, atomic absorption spectophotometery, mathematical statistics with usage correlation, regression, cluster and factor analyses. The peculiarities of urban systems of different functional purposes, such as soil characteristics, features .of vegetable cover have been researched. The content of heavy metals in the upper layer of town soils and their profile distribution has been considered. The influence of soil characteristics on spatial heterogeneity of heavy metals content was determined. The estimation of soil contamination levels of urban systems with heavy metals using different methodological approaches has been carried out. The composition and structure of geochemical anomalies and also the sources of their origin have been determined; buffer soil capability in relation to their contamination with heavy metals has been defined. The classification of urban systems of Dneprodzerzhinsk on contamination level of their components with heavy metals as well as on buffer soil capability has been made. Application spheres are monitoring, phytoindication, training courses.
