Melnyk M. Restoration of knee-joint function for patients with child's cerebral palsy

The dissertation is devoted to pressing question: to the improvement of treatment results of patients with child's cerebral palsy with violation of function of knee-joint on the basis of development of the system of restoration treatment and rehabilitation of this category of patients. This work is based on the study of clinical, radiological and electromyography changes for 83 patients with a child's cerebral palsy with violation of function of knee-joint. On the basis of the analysis of own material it is established, that regardless of forms and weight of disease on child's cerebral palsy, the major factor which limits restoration of function of knee-joints and standing of lower extremities is unjustified long term of conservative treatment. The developed circuit of inspection which includes clinical, radiological, neurological and electromyography research allows on the basis of objective criteria to estimate the functional state of lower extremities for patients with child's cerebral palsy on stages of treatment and to set indications to operative treatment. The developed complex system of diagnostics and regenerative treatment allowed achieving positive results for all patients
