Tzihanovska V. Territorial organization of grain product system (complex) of a region and ways of its improvement (based on Vinnytsya oblast materials)

Focus of the present thesis is the development of theoretical-methodological basis and practical recommendations to improve territorial organization of a regional grain product complex. The thesis determines economic substance, role and value of the grain product complex in a region, elaborates key characteristics and essential features of its territorial organization. Also determined were character and specifics of the territorial structure, scope and dynamics of its areal organization; methodological approaches toward evaluating the efficiency of territorial organization of the grain product complex in a region have been improved in the context of modern economic realities. Assessment of resource potential of the complex was made, current situation and specifics of its components’ development was described as well as regional distribution of the territory of a region was performed based on a level of grain production development. Proposed are an organizational-economic mechanism to ensure optimal territorial organization of the complex in a region along with the sources to implement this, ways of expediting investment-innovative and marketing activities aimed at improving efficiency of the complex as well as grain an grain-product markets.
