The thesis is dedicated to a problem of creation of auxiliary blowers of air intended for increase to efficiency of charge air systems at exploitation of ship diesel installations on transient regimes. By the solution of the problem, reviewed in activity, was the mining of a technique of designing of vanes drum type. Their application in the charge air system will allow increasing general (common) efficiency of a ship diesel installation for the score: Matched activity of a body and runner of the supercharger; Application in a design of the auxiliary blower of a concave blade, which one is profiled under the logarithmic law; Designing optimum geometrical and dynamic characteristics of the auxiliary blower, which one result to a brakeless mode. Motions of airflow in a broad band of the consumptions. On the basis of executed (made) researches the outcomes permitting to engineer for charge air systems ship internal combustion engine technological devices, having preset at service in parameters were obtained.
