Chernetskyy V. Treatment of the fractures of the clavicle with the method of external transosseous osteosynthesis

Dissertation is devoted to the decision of actual task of traumatology which does have the substantial practical value the improvement of treatment results of the fracture of the clavicle, to determination of indications to the use of external transosseous osteosynthesis (ETO) in treatment of this kind of trauma, the development of optimum method of the ETO in the fractures of the clavicle. On the basis of treatment results of analysis 47 persons with the midshaft clavicular fractures by the traditional treatment methods the problem questions in the use of existent methods and the most widespread complications are exposed. The method of treatment of the midshaft clavicular fractures on the base of ETO method by the bar vehicle is developed. The mathematical modeling with further verification of its results by the stand tests confirmed to that the developed method of treatment provided a greater stability of fixing in case of the comminuted fractures of the clavicle, than plating or intramedullary osteosynthesis, and does not yield to them in the fractures of clavicle without intermediate wreckages between basic fragments. The use of the developed method in treatment of 44 persons with the midshaft clavicular fractures led to its high clinical efficiency, the possibility to put together in time both the period of bone wreckages fixing and the period of patients rehabilitation, that it is confirmed by information of goniometry and electro-physiology methods of examination.
