Essay

The dissertation is devoted to investigation and basing of inculcation of new surgical technology - percutaneous laser microdiscectomy in cervical discogenic neurocompressive syndromes. With this aim complex of clinical, morphological and laboratory investigations was made. Clinical investigations are basing on material, which includes 150 patients operated on 1997-2006. These patients had 244 disc hernias with clinical signs of neural compression on cervical level of spine. Analysis of nearest and follow results showed effectiveness of method in 90,9%. Due to biochemical investigations decreasing of disc mass occur mostly due to water evaporation. It showes uneffectiveness of percutaneous laser microdiscectomy in hydrophob, or so called "dark" (due to MR-images) disc hernias. Morphological investigations exposed 4 zones of structural changes after use of surgical laser. It was showed such phenomenon that after increasing of laser dose width of vaporization canal comes smaller. It proves inexpediency of using high doses of laser energy.
