Essay

The dissertation is dedicate to the pressing question of modern spinal neurosurgery to prophylaxis and treatment postoperative compressive cicatrical-adhesive epiduritis at patients with neural compression syndromes of a lumbar spine complicated cicatrical-adhesive epiduritis. Work is based on the analysis of 120 clinical supervision at patients, operated in laser-endoscopic spinal neurosurgery clinic of SI "Institute of neurosurgery named after academican A.P. Romodanov of Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" with 1996 on 2006 concerning hernias of intervertebral disks in a lumbar spine complicated cicatrical-adhesive epiduritis. For preventive maintenance of the further developmen and treatment cicatrical-adhesive epiduritis are used non resorbable polyacrylamid gels. The technology of introduction polyacrylamid gels is developed during carrying out lumbar microdiskectomies. Use non resorbable polyacrylamid gels during lumbar microdiskectomies (one year later after operation) has brought 91,7% of good results in comparison to 71,7% of good results where gels were not applied. Thus unsatisfactory results of treatment have made 8,3 % and 28,3 % accordingly.
