Essay

The thesis is devoted to the elaboration of solid-phase reagents based on the QAS immobilized on silica gel and to the development on this basis of sorption-spectrometric and visual test-methods of the determination of Bi(III), Cr(VI), Fe(III), Mn(VII), Mo(VI), I(VII), U(VI) and anionic surfactants. The nature of the interaction between QAS immobilized on silica gel and the anions of different character was investigated. It was found that it proceeds by the ion-associative mechanism. Conditions of sorption preconcentration of anionic dyes, oxoanions and anionic complexes of metals were optimized. The influence of foreign ions on the extraction degree of the investigated elements and compounds, and also on the magnitude of analytical signal, was studied. Sorption-spectrometric and visual test-methods of the determination of Bi(III) in pharmaceutical preparation, Cr(VI) in waste waters of plants, Fe(III) in river water, manganese ions in tap water and medical preparation, Mo(VI) in sea salt and medical preparation, iodine oxoanions in nutritional salt, U(VI) in waters of anthropogenic origin, and anionic surfactants in potable, river and waste waters were developed on the basis of our study.
