The thesis is dedicated to the researching of the history of the European integration of the Baltic states in 1991-2004. The political, economical and social prerequisites of the European chose of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia have been analyzed. The first results of membership in the EU were researched. The opportunities for Ukraine in using of the positive experience of the European integration are also determined.
