Dissertation for competition of the Ph.D. Degree with specialty 04.00.22 - Geo-physics - Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, Kyiv, 2008. The frequency domains of polarizability of native copper, ilmenite and magnetite that have been contained into Volyn's trapp formations are determined. There is shown, that researches on the one-frequency enable the mapping of different vulcan-ites, tectonic structures and alterated rocks areas. Based on the slope of the angles of lagging (rate of change with frequency of polarizability) it was discovered the possibil-ity of the revealing of accumulation of native copper. The geologic-geophysical mod-els of copper-bear trapp formations are made and as well is definited their perspective utility of copper. From this development technique the field operations with phase-frequency overvoltage method prove that ore-controlled structures are represented on 0.3 Hz frequency as depressed values of polarizability and resistance and in the pres-ence of copper these of as anomaly speed on frequency range from 0,8 to 2-4 Hz.
