Essay

Object of investigation: process of current pulses forming for the resistant small-scale welding. Purpose: further development of conception of current pulse shapers construction for the resistant small-scale welding, perfection of such shapers taking into account the electrical physical process features in shaper loading - welded contact. Methods: elements of electric contact theory, theory of electric and electronic chains, theory of automatic control, methods of mathematical and physical design, methods of linear and nonlinear circuit analysis, methods of structural parametric optimization, statement method, method of dispersion analysis, program MATHCAD 2001i and MATLAB 6.5. Main results: new principles of current pulses shapers construction are first offered for the resistant small-scale welding, which are based on adjusting of welding pulse power with correction of its peak-temporal parameters by law, that allows to rise quality of the welded connection; the mathematical model of pulse shaper isimproved taking into account non-linearity of welding current semiconductor regulator and welding contour, that allows to define influence of circuit elements parameters on the process of pulse forming and synthesize the automatic control system.
