Essay

This is devoted to a pressing problem of determination of resistance of fatigue and providing of longevity of parts on the regime of loading and for the realization of expert esti-mation of their breakages from a fatigue. Here I confirm the correctness of using a linear hypothesis of summing up the fatigue defects to determine the bound damage by the indi-vidual fatigue curve for a separate machine part on basis of relations among its parameters. Method of substituting the factual multistep regime by an equivalent two-step one is developed to eliminate the effects of fatigue damage low bound on division accuracy of loading spectrum as to dam-aging and undamaging parts. Here is given the improve-ment of mathematical model of fatigue curve: I offer to use the fatigue curve of a new form where the left section is with power function while the right section is with Weybull function. Method of determining fatigue limit correspond-ing best of all to operating time and loading conditions of the part on base of a new fatigue curve and an equivalent twostep regime has been developed. For optimum choice of material according to reasonable strength levels, the statisti-cal theory of similarity of fatigue damage way be used.
