Essay

There are given in the thesis the indices concerning the content of heavy metals in agriecjsystems of industrial region in the Before Carpathians with different technological loading. The excess of nickel and lead, which exceeds the level of permissible concentration, in the soils and water of farms, situated in the region of industrial enterprises was determined and the tendency to store up these xenobiotics in some feeds was established. Dependency between excess of nickel and lead in the rations of bull calves and physiological-biochemical indices of blood was determined. The influence of chelate compounds of trace elements-antagonists of nickel and lead on metabolism and indices of productivity was cleared up. Feeding young animals with mixture of methionates leads to increase of erythrocytes in blood, hemoglobin content, concentration of protein in blood serum, albumins in particular, and macro elements in blood (calcium and magnesium) during simultaneous leveling of toxic influence of heavy metals, which was confirmed by reduction of transaminase activity, decrease of urea concentration and alkaline phosphatase in blood serum and also increase of SH-groups. The influence of feeding up with methionates on quality and safety of beef was studied. Under influence of organic compounds of copper, cobalt and iron the lowering of nickel and lead content (p<0,05) in meat was determined. Key words: young stock, soil, feeds, blood, nickel, lead, methionates, agriecosystems
