Essay

The object of research – stationary and uniformly rotating configurations of point vortices in an ideal incompressible fluid on an unbounded plane; the subject of research – the influence of number of point vortices for arrangement and stability stationary and uniformly rotating configurations of vortices and realizing analogous experiments; purpose of research - finding the new symmetrical and asymmetrical configurations of identical point vortices; method of research: is presented the new method for finding uniformly rotating configurations of identical point vortices, that based on solving system of nonlinear algebraic equation, analysis of stability realized by means of numerical integration of Hamilton's systems of point vortices' motion using Runge-Kutta's method
