Investigation object: aneurism of abdominal aorta at different stages of development, aortic atherosclerosis, Leriche syndrome. The aim: to reveal the interconnection between the changes in biochemical compositional content of aortic wall connective tissue at aortic aneurism with the threaten of disruption, Leriche syndrome and atherosclerosis with the changes in the metabolites level in connective tissue, inflammation parameters and free radical oxidation system in blood serum for determination of the prognostic criteria of aortic wall disruption at aortic aneurism. The methods: biochemical, histological for aortic patterns examination, immunofermentive, instrumental for examination of patients, statistical for getting data. Results, novelty of investigation: for the first time the new approach in prognostication of aortic aneurism disruption, based on determination of interconnection between the changes of the macromolecules' state parameters of the aortic wall connective tissue at aortic aneurism,Leriche syndrome and atherosclerosis with the changes of connective tissue components level, inflammation parameters and free radical oxidation system in blood serum is proposed. The new experimental data concerning the changes in connective tissue macromolecules' compositional state (collagen, non-collagen proteins, proteoglycans) at vessel wall destruction, that can cause the threaten of aortic aneurism disruption are got. The correlation connection between biochemical disturbances in aortic tissue and changes of POL-AOA system, inflammation parameters in blood serum at aortic aneurism is established. The direction of changes of biochemical parameters at aortic aneurism with the threaten of disruption is determined and it makes possible to predict disruption not only by means of instrumental but also laboratory methods. The diagnostic criteria for prediction of threaten of aortic disruption, based on the determination of ranges in blood serum biochemical parameters in patients having aortic aneurism are carried out. Degree of application: these findings may be used for working out the diagnostic criteria of aortic wall state at heart disorders as well as the means of precaution and correction in macromolecule compositional state of aortic wall that may cause the decrease of aortic wall mechanical firmness and create the conditions favorable for aortic aneurism disruption. The diagnostic criteria for prediction of aortic disruption threaten, based on the determination of the ranges in blood serum biochemical parameters in patients having aortic aneurism may be used in medical practice for taking necessary steps in the treatment and precaution.
