Kolov G. Diagnostics and treatment of suppurative complications after hip and knee joints endoprosthesis

This theses is devoted to the actual problem of the optimization of suppurative complications after joints endoprosthesis treatment. The risk factors of suppurative inflammations appearance in the endoprosthesis site are defined more exactly and systematized. It was determined that the main protection against infectious agents of pyoinflammatory process in the patients group under analysis was done through the humoral immunity. The author impoved and incorporated the complex treatment of suppurative complications after hip and knee joints endoprosthesis. The introduction of the proposed treatment allowed to obtain 59,4 % of good results, 31,2 % of satisfactory and 4,7 % of unsatisfactory results in patients with the suppuration in hip joint and 74,1 % of good results, 22,2 % of satisfactory and 3,7 % of unsatisfactory results in patients with the suppuration in knee joint correspondingly.
