Iepikhin D. Current state of Simferopol vegetative cover

This dissertation is dedicated to a study of spontaneous flora and vegetation, analysis of the system of vegetative growth in a city and defining approaches to developing a more effective structure and management. Spontaneous flora comprises 730 species of vascular plants, which belong to 411 genera, 101 families, 6 classes and 4 divisions. A systematic, geographic, bio-morphologic and an ecologic analysis were conducted. Adventive's fraction was analyzed. The study was conducted as to syntaxon structure of spontaneous vegetation in the city, analysis of systematic, geographic and eco-bio-morphologic structure of coenofloras of vegetation syntaxons, distribution in the city. The dissertation proposes main characteristic of dendroflora. Dendroflora comprises of 198 species. 18 rare species, 21 patriarch trees and the long-living trees and 1 rare syntaxa were revealed. The dissertation contains elaborate cartographic material.
