Mushchynska N. Regional Features of Reduction Shadow Economy’s Level

Object of the research: the forming and developing process of the shadow economy’s sector at the regional level. Aim: the deepening of the theoretical- methodical bases of the regional shadow economy’s level estimation and the development of the scientifically substantiated integral approach to the process of deshadowing the economy at the regional level. Methods of research: comparative analysis, systematization and synthesis, systems analysis, mathematical statistics, clustering (with the use of a method of the iterative group of K- averages), extrapolation. Determined: the comparative typology of regions according to the sign and the change dynamics of the shadow economy’s level. Developed: the model to estimate the potential size of the tax income as a result of regulation of the shadow economy at the regional level; the techniques developed in order to assess the shadow economy’s level in the sphere of the retail trade and restaurant service, which consider data of the official sources basedon the simulation of the causal connections between the endogenous and exogenous variables. Implemented:: the organizational-economic mechanism of the regional economy deshadowing, the techniques to assess the shadow economy’s level at the regional level, the project of the data base with the function of information search. Application domains: in practical activity of regional state administrations, statistics administrations in the regions and the tax administrations of all levels; in educational process of higher educational establishments.
