The results of trials of plasma covers against fretting-corrosion at constant gliding speed. The impact of covers on the titanium alloy BT-22 maximum wearproof has been defined. The trials at the dynamic load have been carried. The strength of covers binding depending on the thickneess and underlayer has been investigated. The transitional areas of external load parameters of the materials in contact with the cover were identified. The conditions of transition of mechanic and chemical processes to atomic and abrasive processes were defined.
