Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the research of the visean fossil algae of the Donets basin. The detailed study of calcareous algae from 16 localities located in the southern part of Donets region is presented. A monographycal study, analyse of vertical distribution and a revise of a fossil group of green Algae Palaeoberesellaceae Mamet et Roux is provided. A relation of the algae to separate facies is found. A description of 59 species are established.
