A measurement of the geometrical parameters of the algaes in reservoirs of water supply by the brand new automated system. The aim is to extend the functional possibility and to increase the processing speed of the geometric parameters measurement instrumentality in reservoirs by development of the automated system for the geometric parameters measurement. The researches of methods and tools of measurements of geometrical parameters and weight of the phytoplankton in reservoirs of water supply assignment are executed in the thesis. The errors of transformation of the measuring videoinformation are defined. The measures on reduction and indemnification of errors of measurements are defined. The automated system for measurements of geometrical parameters of the phytoplankton in reservoirs is developed. It has been implemented. The area of application is examination and control of the condition in reservoirs of water supply.
