Essay

The research deals with the origin, development and realization of neoconservative ideology in the leading countries in the second half of the XXth century and was realized by M.Thatcher neoconservative governments and R.Reagan administrations in the 80s. There has been studied the process of introducing neo-conservative theory into practice, this being done on the basis of the documents having become available for scientific analysis lately. There have also been analyzed the activity of the neo-conservative British and American governments aimed and reforming their socio-economic development and foreign policy, the so-called "thatcherism" and "reagonomics", the features these phenomena have incommon and their differences as well as the similarities and differences in the neo-conservative ideologies of both countries.
