Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of restoration of the dynastic form of government in Europe in the seventeenth - twentieth centuries. In author's analysis the whole structure of the given phenomenon of the restoration of traditional conservatism included the following instances: the restoration of Stuart in 1660-1688; the restoration of Bourbon Dynasty in France in 1814/1815-1830; the restoration of Bonaparte Dynasty in France in 1852-1870; the first restoration of Bourbon Dynasty in Spain in 1874-1931; the restoration of Gluksburg Dynasty in Norway in 1905/1940 - today, second restoration of Bourbon Dynasty in Spain in 1975 - today, and the restoration of Skoropadskyi Dynasty in Ukraine in 1918. The attention is paid to the analysis of the process of establishing and general development of the restoration as phenomenon of conservative revolution. It also deals with determination of the concrete basic types and delineation of the two main stages of the restoration of dynastic form of government in Europe of the seventeenth - twentieth centuries. The author analyses the problem of political and social interaction in societies of restoration. It concerns, particulary, the next basic aspects: dynasty and conjugal politics, influence of division of powers between a crown and parliament on the process of strengthening of restorations, the role of political parties and social groups in the framework of restoration. The dissertation concludes with deliniation of the general and specific features of the Ukrainian phenomenon of the restoration of traditional form of government in the twentieth century - Hetmanat of Pavlo Skoropadskyj, and its place in the general European structure of the phenomenon of restoration of the dynastic form of government.
