Essay

The dissertation presents complex research of dissipative properties of the friction contact. It takes into account that abovementioned properties are displayed by the friction pair material and lubricating material. The research uses the exciting method of free damping rotating oscillations of the system. The logarithmic decrement and the frequency of these oscillations are measured. Dissipative properties of the contact under reversed preliminary displacement are studied. A method of comparative express evaluation of anti-fretting properties of greases is offered.
