Essay

Thesis is devoted to the systematic study of electron structure of lanthanide-containing nickel oxides with perovskite-like structure. Firstly investigation of electron structure of Lan+1NinO3n+1 (n = 1, 2, 3), La2-xCaxNiO4 (x = 0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3), LnNiO3 (Ln = Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho) compounds series was performed using one approach combining experimental (x-ray spectral, x-ray photoelectron) and calculation techniques in cluster and band approximations.
