The Dissertation work is dedicated to researching the phenomenon of scientific discourse as an element of the Information Society's social system. Determination of methodological and social-cultural aspects of its formation is given the most consideration. The matter of the term "scientific discourse" has been given a more precise definition and correlated with that of "information society". That made possible to expose that in the information society all the existent types of discourses permeated with to the scientific discourse. It is ascertained that methodological and social-cultural bases of the transformations of science into scientific discourse is a complex synthesis of scientific-theoretical, scientific-industrial and scientific-educational activity. In the work the innovation component essence of modern scientific discourse has been researched, and the coincidence of its theoretical, pragmatic and social-cultural aspects was analyzed. It has been cleared up that modern scientific discourse combining both the scientific and information areas is acting as information civilization development ground.
