Essay

The objects are the forest plantation biogeocenosis of an experimentally - production sector on recultivated mining dumps of the West Donets Basin. The aim is eco-biological substantiation of forest biogeocenosis resistance on a fixed experimentally - production sector of forest recultivation disturbed by mining industry. The methods are field, experimentally - manufacturing, laboratorial-analytical, measuring - weight, rated - comparative, mathematical - statistical. Ecological changes that occurred in created artificial soils influenced by recultivating measures during a 30-year period have been explored. Ecological, physicochemical, water-physical properties and water supply of artificial soils have been defined. Dynamics of experimental forest plantation species composition, vitality and productivity in the perennial process of recultivating coal-mining industry waste dumps has been explored; optimal forest-plant conditions, wood and shrub species being more productive on low-cost artificial soil variations have been defined. Optimal and economically sound artificial soil variations with high forest-plant effect as well as practical constructions of resistant and productive forest plantation on restoration sites of lands disturbed by mining industry have been revealed and ecologically substantiated. Application spheres is the nature protection measures.
