Essay

Object of research: processes of an economic competition between regions (economic systems). The purpose of research: a theoretical substantiation, empirical study and methodical maintenance of possible estimations of competitiveness of regions on the basis of formation of the appropriate system of parameters. Methods of research: the system-structural, economic-statistical, economic-mathematical analysis; a logic-structural substantiation, graphic description. Theoretical results: are profound, have found the further development and the scientific-theoretical rules, which systems, directed on formation, of parameters of competitiveness of regions in modern conditions are advanced. Practical results: the offers on structure and structure of system of parameters of regional competitiveness; classification of the factors of competitiveness of region; a substantiation of criterion of efficiency of competitiveness of region. Scientific novelty: The system of parameters of regional competitiveness is offered; the classification of the factors of regional competitiveness is proved; the criterion of efficiency of regional competitiveness is established. The methodical approaches to definition of estimations of competitive advantages of separate regions and receptions of the comparative analysis of competitive positions of regions are advanced. Have received the further development: definition of the terms "regional competitiveness", "regional competitive positions" and specification of the basic characteristics of competitiveness of regions. Sphere of use is the activity of the Ministry of regional development and constructions of Ukraine, regional state administrations, bodies of local self-management; scientific establishments, higher educational institutions.
