Fedonyuk O. Amphibia and Reptilia of Lviv region forests

The object of the study - populations of forest species of amphibians and reptiles in Lviv area. The Purpose of the work: Define species variety and amount of amphibians and reptiles in condition main natural regions of Lviv area, research the ecology and role in forest ecosystems, develop the recommendations on guard amphibians and reptiles; the Methods of the studies - route method, comparative ecology, trophical methods, laboratory - analytical, statistical. Scientific novelty got result. For the first time complex research of the species number for the forests in different natural areas of Lviv region has been conducted and the influence of forest conditions over the species richness has been defined, the new data about Amphibia and Reptilia biotopes and the influence of microclimate over the species number have been defined, the Amphibia trophic role in the forests of Lviv region has been determined, the factors of risk have been revealed and the measures for their minimization have been suggested; the Results - the recommendations for the protection and optimization of Amphibia and Reptilia existence environment have been developed; the Degree of the introduction - the results of the field studies in 2005-2006 are used for writing the chronicles of the nature in National natural parks of Lviv area, some of them are sent for new publishing the Red book of the Ukraine; the branch - forestry.
