Essay

The thesis presents results of action research of chemical pollution on cytogenetically parameters of higher plants in various technogene zones. The analysis of the data allows to reach the conclusion, that in agricultural soil, located along motorways, the progressing accumulation of heavy metals forming complexes with residual amounts of pesticides is observed the effect of which depends on concentration and is accompanied by decrease of mitotic activity, growing processes, cell mutations increase of formative tissue root of Allium cepa L. and production of sterile pollen Vitis vinifera L. Palynotoxic and morphological analysis of higer plants pollen can serve a reliable parameter of chemical pollution level.
