Essay

Object: electron subsystem in rare earth and transition elements compounds that possesses strong local correlations between particles from different bands. Aim: investigation of asymmetric Hubbard model (AHM) within dynamical mean field theory (DMFT). Methods: DMFT, different-time decoupling of Green's functions, generating functional. Results: the approach to solving AHM in DMFT is proposed and improved; fermion and boson densities of states are described.
