Bagackaya O. Features of growth and development of introductive types of woody lianas and prospects of their use in planting of greenery of Kyiv city

Dissertation is devoted to the studying of the biological and ecological qualities of introduction species of woody lianas in Kyiv with the purpose of establish perspective assortment of plants, expansion of possibilities of their use and substantiation of recommendations for production in the relation to the use of the perspective types of woody lianas in the city planting of greenery. Experience of introduction of climbing plants is analyzed in collections of botanical gardens of Ukraine and street planting of Kyiv. Modern taxonomical composition is set and the botanic-geographical analysis of introduction types of woody lianas is conducted. Biological features of 16 types of introduction woody lianas in the conditions of Kyiv are studied. The rhythms of development, peculiarities of shoots growth, flowering and fruiting of woody climbing plants are studied. It is set that in the conditions of Kyiv phenological phases are characterized by the stability and coordinate with to the weather-climatic conditions district of introduction is cleared. The question of firmness of introduction types of woody lianas to the unfavorable factors surrounding environments, their sufficient resistance to the cold and drought- resistance is marked. The peculiarities of seed and cloning are analyzed, the most effective methods of reproduction are established. Progress of adaptation of introduction types of woody lianas is set in the investigated region. Modified and applied by the author method of decorativeness on the introduction types of woody lianas is given. Prospects and composition bases of the types use of introduction of woody lianas in the vertical planting of greenery of Kyiv. Recommendations for the production in relation to the use of the cultivated woody lianas in the vertical planting of greenery of Kyiv taking into account the features of functional types of planting are developed.
