Essay

The object of the researches is seed and planting stock of species of the genus Quercus L. A purpose is the improvement of agronomical technique for cultivating, a development of practical bases for cultivating the planting stock and improvement of the technology of forest plantation. Methods of the researches: forest, evaluational, statistical, expeditionary methods, comparative ecology, methods of in vitro reproduction of plants, forest plantation. Scientific novelty of the work: for the first time in Ukraine a large-scale research was conducted of influence of geographical origin of seed, their sizes, features of their forms, mass of 1000 items, depths of sieving-out, terms of collection and sieving-out of acorns on growth and development of seedlings; generalized experimental and production experience of the intensive cultivating of planting stock in the protected ground conditions, with the closed root system and method of culture of tissues. Results: setted the influence of geographical origin ofacorns, their morphological features, technologies of sowing of seed and cultivating of seedlings in protected and unprotected ground on growth and development of planting stock; improved the agronomical technique of cultivating of seedlings in the protected and unprotected ground, with the opened and closed root system. The degree of introduction - the results of researches are used for the improvement of agronomical technique of cultivating of planting stock and developments of practical bases of cultivating of species of the genus Quercus L. and for the improvement of technology of forest plantation production. Industry of the use is the forest plantation production.
