Prokopovych-Pavlyuk I. Increasing of region economics competitiveness (by the example of Lviv Region)

Problems of assessment and increasing level competitiveness of regional economics are investigated in the thesis. With the usage of cluster, discriminant and dispersive analysis economic-mathematical model was created. It allows to make a comparative analysis of region economic competitiveness among themselves, classify regions in classes by competitiveness levels, define factors which mostly influence general level economics competitiveness of each region. Strategic steps totality to increase competitiveness level of Lviv region is suggested, strategic management model of region competitiveness development is created, conditions of its realization and valuation methods of its social and economic effectiveness is formulated.
