Essay

Thesis is devoted to determination of ion-implanted hydrogen behaviour rules in Cr18Ni10 type austenitic stainless steels. Complex of experimental methods and also numerical simulation was used for the extracting of hydrogen trapping and desorption thermodynamic parameters in steels. It is shown that radiation-induced defects of vacancy type are the effective hydrogen traps in Cr18Ni10 steels. Influence of alloying additions on the hydrogen trapping and alloys microstructure evolution was determined. Found out blocking influence of titanium admixtures on hydrogen release from a steel volume in the presence of superficial passivating film.
