Essay

This dissertation is devoted to the studying of regular occurrences of structure formation in thin films and multi-layer composite coatings based on lithium-manganese spinel exposed on aluminum substrate. The films and coatings are produced by the technology of vapor deposition at various modes. Rational modes of vapor deposition technology for thin films and multi-layer composite coatings on aluminum substrate are found. These modes ensure high operational and electrochemical properties of new cathode materials for modern sources of electricity and increase their service life. The experimental pilot samples of thin batteries (thickness 50 mkm) and square 2 cm2 with new cathode materials based on lithium-manganese spinel are produced and their efficiency in microsystem technology power sources is investigated. The fact that these thin batteries possess high specific discharge capacity 0,07 – 0,09 mAh/g and specific power 150 – 190 Wh/l is given.
