Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the development of scientific and engineering bases for creation of heat-supplying and air conditioning solar systems with evaporative cooling application. The developed systems of dry-evaporative type are based on the open absorption cycle with the direct regeneration of the absorbent. Special interest represent evaporative coolers of indirect evaporative type IEC in which cooling of air is achieved without direct contact with water. IEC have been developed on the basis of film type apparatuses with multichannel nozzle structure .The modeling of joint heat and mass transfer processes were performed. The data providing calculation and design of the coolers were obtained experimentally. The general ecological analysis of alternative systems with the use of methodology "Life Cycle Assessment " and database "Sima Pro-6" was implemented. The developed alternative system SACS (IEC) leads to less exhaustion of natural resources, than traditional one and causes less damage to the global change of climate. The greatest influence on the environment is made during operation of the system; the contribution of the period of manufacture constitutes about 25% from the contribution during complete life cycle, and the contribution of the period of recycling is insignificant; the general ecological influence for alternative system makes only 65% from the same influence for a traditional system.
