Tovkanets S. Formation and Use of the Industrial Potential of a Region in the Conditions of Market Reforms (on the example of Zakarpatska Oblast)

The thesis formulates theoretical and methodological bases and main tendencies of the formation and use of the industrial potential of a region according to the kinds of economic activity in the conditions of Ukraine's transitional economy. The analysis of the structure of industrial potential is carried out, the tendencies of its formation are studied, and the estimation of its use is made. The directions of reproduction of industrial potential constituents are determined in the context of the sustainable development of the region, in the conditions of further market reforms. The proposals are made as to the investment and innovation direction of the industrial potential development. Also, certain measures towards the improvement of its prospective use are recommended.
