Essay

The dissertation deals with the solution of a scientific-technological problem of increasing the efficiency of turning difficult-to-machine steels and alloys with tools of cBN-based PSHM (polycrystalline superhard materials) by controlling the chemical contact interactions in the cutting zone and tool stressed state. The main prerequisite for an increase in the tool wear resistance is the control of physicochemical interaction between the tool and workpiece materials and the elements of the environment.
