Essay

For the first time it is investigated the ability of annual crops from Сucurbitaceae, Fabaсeae and Poaceae families to uptake organochlorine pesticides from polluted soils of Ukraine and it is established, that Cucurbita pepo L. are capable to accumulate maximum of DDT in vegetative bodies. It is confirmed the direct dependence between the sum lipids' maintenance and phytoextractional ability of annual plants for DDT. Methodical recommendations on phytotesting of soils polluted with DDT for phytoremediation technologies' introduction are developed. It is determined a degree of chemical degradation of turfen-podsolic soil at pesticides warehouse in Zhitomir region. It is shown, that anaerobic decomposition is effective way of plants recycling which are polluted with DDT, the half-decay period for DDT in the polluted vegetative biomass makes 3,4 day at the temperature mode of 24 ± 2 С and without light access.
