Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of electromagnetic and thermal processes in electrotechnical complex of induction heating for the billets of coal-graphite blocks. The object-indicative models of the "inductors - tip of squeezer - coal-graphite mass" system at the preparatory and pressing stages are developed. The application of the improved methods of computer modeling allows to establish the dependences of magnetic, electrical and power parameters of the inductors with the consideration of power transformer parameters, construction peculiarities, nonlinearity of electro-physical and thermophysical characteristics. The warm up mode, the scheme of thermocouple installation were perfected; the optimal correlations of temperature tasks were defined. This allows to de-crease the preparatory stage duration and power expenses, to stabilize the work surface temperature and to increase the billets quality.
