Essay

The work is dedicated to solution of an important scientific and technical problem for rising efficiency of fire protection systems by using fire resistant cable boxes as components of electric cable lines. In terms of standard thermal mode a method has been developed and the values of fire resistant electric cable lines of fire protective systems has been determined. A calculation and experimental method has been proposed and has been used for the determination of minimum thickness of the wall of the cable boxes for three materials. They have been used for realization of constructive decisions of electric cable lines ensuring values of fire resistance rating of 15 min. to 180 min.
