Essay

The model describing the thermodynamics of deposit adsorbed in grooves, on the outer surface, and in interstitials of a closed-end carbon nanobundle is developed. The proposed model is applied to interpret the experimental data on 4He and CH4 adsorption on carbon nanobundles. The thermodynamics of low dimensional spin-1/2 Heisenberg ferromagnets in an external magnetic field is investigated within a two-time Green function formalism.
